Who we are
The Morris Unity Fund is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to make Morris a stronger, more connected community.
We bring people together to support local organizations and make our community a better place. We do this through community projects, volunteer work, and live entertainment.
Our Projects
We’re always looking for ways to make Morris a little better. Whether that means helping with a local project or bringing people together for an event.
So far, we’ve helped repair the roof at Angell Dance Arts and give the Eastside Park bandshell a fresh coat of paint. We also raised $3,500 for the Morris Food Shelf.
EAST SIDE PARK IMPROVEMENT
We want to make the community a better place and are asking you to contribute fun ideas to improve Eastside Park. We are looking for project ideas with an estimated cost between $15,000 and $100,000. Though, don’t have these funds yet. To curb this, we will be seeking donations from individuals and businesses to help bring these ideas to life. If you’d like to contribute, please visit out Donate page for more information. We’ve talked with multiple Park Board members, they agree with this approach and will be involved in the discussions the whole way, alongside the community. Sor far, Ideas from upgrading the bathrooms or renovating the picnic shelter to adding shade structures to the bleachers and upgrading playground equipment.
